PPT97: How to Remove the Custom Soundtrack Add-in

1. Exit PowerPoint.
   
   If you try to remove the Custom Soundtrack Add-In while PowerPoint is running, you may receive error messages similar to the following:
   Setup could not remove the file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\PPMUSIC.PPA'. It is in use by another application.
   followed by:
   Setup could not remove the file 'C:\Windows\System\Ppmusicau.dll'.
2. Run the Setup program for the Custom Soundtrack Add-In.
   
   This file is called Setup.exe and is located on your PowerPoint 97 or Office 97 compact disc in the \ValuPack\MusicTrk folder.
3. Click the Remove All button. When the Setup program asks you if you want to remove the PowerPoint Custom Soundtracks Add-In, click Yes.
4. When Setup completes, use Windows Explorer or File Manager to delete the following folder:

         C:\Multimedia Files\Music\Interactive Music
