SUMMARY

To optimize the performance of Real Time viewing applications, Softimage recommends the 6 series (latest versions) of the IRIX operating system. These OS versions, including all the required patches, (refer to the "READ ME FIRST" sheet) use the latest version of IGLOO which contains fixes to the previous versions. They also include performance enhancements.
