SUMMARY

This information is provided to assist you in rendering a scene directly to an ACCOM. If you have a large render and not enough hard drive space rendering directly to an ACCOM provides a solution.

MORE INFORMATION

Paste the following script into a file, then chmod a+x the file, and put it's full path into the postframe gadget.

It will automatically delete the yuv file. If you want to delete the .pic file just remove the # before the line.

Don't forget to have the correct name setup for you DDR. Don't forget to change the frame where you want to begin to record on the DDR

If you don't want to start recording at the first frame, change the 0 in "@ f += 0" to the number of frames you want it to skip.

#!/bin/csh # $1 = pic sequence name # $2 = Frame Number # $3 = Frame Counter of sequence # $4 = Field

if ($#argv == "4") then

  @ Frame = 0 + $3 # Correspond to the frame where you want to record

  echo soft2yuv $1.$2 $1.$2
  echo rcp $1.$2 DDR:$Frame #DDR correspond to the dns name of the DDR

  rm $1.$2.yuv #Optional if you want to remove the intermediate file
  #rm $1.$2.pic #Optional if you want to remove the source file
else
  echo This is designed to be use as a Post Frame Script
endif
