Error Message: This Person Is Not Able to Accept Calls

SYMPTOMS

When you call another conference member who did not accept a previous call from you, the other conference member may receive the following error message when he or she accepts the call:

   Conference no longer exists.

The originator of the call may receive the following error message, even though the other conference member is able to accept other calls:

   This person is not able to accept calls.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, both conference members should quit and restart NetMeeting. One member should call the other, who should accept the call on the first try.

This problem was corrected in Microsoft NetMeeting version 2.0. To obtain NetMeeting 2.0, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
