Quick Tip Concerning The Luma Option In 3D Paint

  • Softimage 3D for IRIX, version 3.51
  • Softimage 3D for Windows NT, version 3.51

SUMMARY

In order for the Luma option in 3D paint to have an effect on the object that you are applying it to, make sure your Alpha value is not set at 255.

Once you have verified that this is the case, you should then be able to brighten or remove color from your 3D object.
