SUMMARYThis article is provided as a brief explanation of the Plot feature. The Plot command in the Motion module is normally used to replace one or many animation/constraint tracks with a simpler explicit plotted set of curves. Once the plot has been completed, to obtain the proper result you must relax or remove the constraints that generated the movement. For example: If you animate the effector of a chain, then plot the rotation of the joints, to obtain the exact same animation, you must remove the effector animation because the new rotation fcurves on the joints are now considered the animation s preferred angles, which modifies the inverse kinematics resolution. If you do not remove the animation of the effector, the playback results in a different animation since both the direct and inverse kinematics are applied to the chain.
