Changing Sound Event Causes H/PC to Stop Responding

SYMPTOMS
You may experience one of the following symptoms when you attempt to
associate a sound with an event on your Handheld PC (H/PC):
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the sound file has a very long file name or path.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
- Press the Reset button on your H/PC, and then press ON.
NOTE: Any unsaved information will be lost.
- Tap the Start button, tap Settings, double-tap Volume & Sounds, and
then tap the Sound tab.
- Tap the Scheme box, and then tap the Windows CE Default scheme.
- If you are prompted to save the previous scheme, tap No.
- Locate the sound file using My Handheld PC, and then rename the file
using a shorter file name.
