SYMPTOMS
If you reinstall Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 (OSR2) on a computer
that has Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 already installed and fully
configured, the Internet Connection Wizard (ICW) is started instead of
Internet Explorer when you double-click the Internet icon on the desktop.
CAUSE
OSR2 Setup configures the Internet icon to start the Internet Connection
Wizard.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem and retain your previous connection settings, use
the following steps:
If you want to run the ICW again, click the Start button, point to
Programs, point to Accessories, point to Internet Tools, and then click
Get On The Internet.
