MORE INFORMATION
Although it is perfectly acceptable to use hyphens in file names in
MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows 95, and Microsoft Windows NT, the ISO-9660
standard for compact disc layout specifies that file names on compact
discs should not contain certain characters, including hyphens. ISO-
9660 defines a universal file naming convention that allows computers
running MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows NT, UNIX, or the Macintosh system
software to read data from a single compact disc.
