Article ID: 162085
Article Last Modified on 2/11/2005
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Visual FoxPro 3.0 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Visual FoxPro 3.0b Standard Edition
- Microsoft Visual FoxPro 3.0b for Macintosh
This article was previously published under Q162085
SYMPTOMS
When using the SET COLOR OF SCHEME or SET COLOR TO command to change the
foreground color of the desktop to white, any reports that are previewed or
sent to the printer are blank. These commands are still used for backward
compatibility. The _SCREEN.FORECOLOR and _SCREEN.BACKCOLOR commands should
be used instead.
RESOLUTION
Using the following commands instead results in the Report Writer
performing properly:
_SCREEN.FORECOLOR=RGB(255,255,255)
_SCREEN.BACKCOLOR=RGB(0,0,255)
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. This bug has been fixed in Visual FoxPro
5.0 for Windows.
