How To Exit Softimage 3D (NT) When Exit Command Does Not Work

SUMMARY

If you are unable to exit a Softimage 3D session by the conventional method (choosing the Exit command), it is necessary to terminate the soft process using the Windows NT Task Manager.

The information in this procedure shows you how to shut down Softimage 3D from the Windows NT Task Manger.

Killing soft On Windows NT

  1. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to open the Windows NT Security option window.

  2. Click the Task Manger button.

  3. From the Windows NT Task Manger dialog box, select Softimage 3D from the list of programs that are presently running on your desktop.

  4. Click the End Task button to kill the soft process. The Softimage 3D window disappears from your screen.
