SYMPTOMS
When you use the Restart button in the Merchant Server Administrator
Control Panel on a DEC Alpha system, the router application may fail to
restart. A message box may be displayed stating that the system failed to
restart the router.
CAUSE
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, click the Restart button again. Doing this
usually restarts the system. Alternatively, you can restart the router
independently by clicking the Stop button and then clicking the Start
button on the Router tab.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Merchant
Server version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post
new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
