BUG: Control Panel: Terminated Store Service Status Incorrect

SYMPTOMS
When the Store Service terminates within one or two minutes of being
started using Merchant Server Administrator in Control Panel, the status
of
the Store Service field still displays the message "Running," but it
should
display the message "Stopped."
WORKAROUND
Refresh the Merchant Server Administrator user interface in Control Panel
by switching out of that page and coming back to it.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Merchant
Server version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
