SYMPTOMS
If a transaction is rolled back in a 'single user' database, a Msg 3307
error will occur, followed by a handled access violation. The server will
stop responding, and no connections or queries will be allowed into the
server at this point.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, avoid rolling back transactions in a 'single
user' database.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server
versions 6.0 and 6.5. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service
Pack 3 for Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. For more information, contact
