  • Softimage 3D for IRIX, versions 3.5, 3.51
  • Softimage 3D for Windows NT, versions 3.01, 3.51

SUMMARY

The EDITFCV option in the title bar of the Fcurve window allows you to globally edit key points of the function curve, including translation and scale. You can also perform this action by choosing the FcrvEdit -> Edit Fcurve command in the Motion module.

To activate translate or scale while using the EDITFCV option, you must first select a key point on your function curve, then change the transformation mode by clicking on the Trans, X,Y,Z or the Scale, X,Y,Z menu cell.

  • The changes in scale are calculated from zero.
  • The scaling point is the average center of all key points on your slope.

The mouse buttons are configured so that:
  • The left mouse button translates (offsets in x and y) the fcurve.
  • The middle mouse button scales the fcurve on the x-axis.
  • The right mouse button controls the scaling on y (movement amplitude).
