TMGR: Work and Cost Values in Sheet Don't Match Timesheet

On the sheet side, Total Work is not rounded and the Total Cost is calculated as:

 (1.7d * 8 hours per day) * $1.00/h
				

On the timescaled side of the view, the work is rounded up to 1.72d; 1.7 days equals 13 hours 36 minutes or 13.6 hours. Microsoft Team Manager rounds the value up to the nearest 15-minute increment that is 13.75 hours. Converted to equivalent days, 13.75 hours equals 1.71875 days. Because Microsoft Team Manager shows only two decimal places of precision, this number is displayed as 1.72d. The Total Cost of $13.75 is equivalent to 13.75 hours * $1.00/h.

As you change the upper and lower timescale units of a timescaled view, in order to show more or less detail, Microsoft Team Manager recalculates Work and Cost values to distribute the value across the given time period. Therefore, rounding may occur.
