SUMMARY

If you want to render to a remote machine that is not a Windows NT

'server', you must have the environment variable to LM_LICENSE_FILE defined
globally in the Control Panel > System dialog box.

If this variable is not defined properly, the daemon (license finder file) will not find the path information to the license file.
