Neverhood: Game Loaded From Hall of Records Hangs

SYMPTOMS
The Neverhood stops responding (hangs) after you load a game that
was saved in the Hall of Records (HOR) Lobby after you solved the H
puzzle.
WORKAROUND
To workaround this problem, try one of the following:
- Press the ESC key on the keyboard to access The Neverhood Options menu
and start a new game or load a saved game from another location.
-or-
- Save the game in another location. For example, after solving the H
puzzle, continue through the newly opened door and then save the game.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem is location specific. If the game is saved anywhere else,
the symptoms do not occur.
