SpeedDial Tool Opens Instead of FrontPage Configuration Files

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft NetMeeting, when you attempt to open a Microsoft FrontPage version 1.x configuration file for editing, the SpeedDial tool in Microsoft NetMeeting is opened.

CAUSE

NetMeeting associates files with a .cnf file name extension with the SpeedDial tool.

RESOLUTION

To edit a FrontPage configuration file, use any text editor (such as Notepad) to open the file.

To start Notepad, click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Notepad.
