PUB3: Characters in Tables on Odd Pages Do Not Print
Q157783
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, version 3.0
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SYMPTOMS
========
If you print an odd-numbered page by itself, and that page contains a
table, the text in the table may not print. The cell borders and shading
do print, but the text does not. This problem may happen with any type of
printer.
CAUSE
=====
This problem occurs if you are in Two-Page Spread view and you print the
page by itself.
RESOLUTION
==========
Method 1: Before printing the page, click Single Page on the View menu.
Method 2: Print both the page you want and the page immediately before or
after it at the same time. For example, if you want to print
page 3 of your publication, print pages 2-3 instead of just
page 3.
MORE INFORMATION
================
Table text on page one and on evenly numbered pages may print correctly.
The tables on other odd numbered pages may print correctly the first time
they are printed as single pages, but not during subsequent prints.
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft
Publisher 97.
