SYMPTOMS

If Softimage 3D seems to be hanging, use Alt+Tab to access the license manager and verify the error message.

The following error message appears:

"Soft.exe entry point not found. Stop the procedure entry point...Describe Layer Plane could not be located in Dynamic Library. OpenGl32.dll"

CAUSE

This could be the result of a number of possible causes.
