How To Enable the Hardware Renderer Acceleration Function

SUMMARY

If you cannot enable the Hardware Render Acceleration function, it may be necessary to set the env-variable in the System dialog box.

Procedure

  1. Open the Control Panel and double-click the System icon.

  2. Type SI_SHADE_TEXTURE_REPEAT in the Variable box.

  3. Type 1 in the Value box.

  4. Click Set.

    The new variable SI_SHADE_TEXTURE_REPEAT=1 appears on the Users Environment Variables box.

  5. Click OK to accept, and then close the window.

Hardware Texture Acceleration is now enabled.
