Banyan Migration Tool Cannot Map Multiple Banyan Organizations

Article ID: Q156897

  • Microsoft Windows NT Server version 3.51

SYMPTOMS

When you export multiple Banyan organizations to a single domain name, Banyan Vines Migration Tool command scripts will be overwritten.

WORKAROUND

Copy the command script files to another location after running an export. The next export will create new command scripts, which will not override the previous scripts.

Another workaround would be to map each of the groups from a given organization to the appropriate domain name, instead of mapping multiple organizations to the same domain name. To change the domain name mapping for a group, you can modify the group properties and then select a domain name from the drop down list.
