Cannot Save Document by Pressing ALT+F+S

SYMPTOMS

When you press ALT+F+S to save a Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word document that has been modified in Internet Explorer, the Save command on the File menu may be unavailable.

RESOLUTION

To save the Microsoft Excel or Word document, use either of the following methods:

  • Press CTRL+S.
  • Click Save on the File menu.
