Softimage 3D on Windows NT Is Case Sensitive

SUMMARY

When Softimage 3D is run on Windows NT, it is case sensitive.

This includes stand-alone files. For example, when you convert (note the file extension) "my_file.3DS", Softimage 3D displays the ready prompt, but the conversion is not successful.

However, if you convert "my_file.3ds", the conversion functions perfectly.
