issue is known to occur with the following plug-ins:
This issue can occur when a plug-in attempts to determine if Netscape Navigator is installed on your computer before proceeding with the installation process. If these plug-ins cannot determine that Netscape Navigator is installed by detecting the presence of the Netscape executable file (Netscape.exe) or Netscape-specific registry entries, the installation process does not continue and the plug-in is not installed.
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:
Internet Explorer is compatible with Netscape plug-ins, but some plug-
ins cannot be installed unless Netscape Navigator is installed on your
computer. Once the plug-in is installed, it functions properly if
Netscape Navigator is not installed on the computer, but it cannot be
installed unless Netscape Navigator is installed.
Netscape Navigator is manufactured by Netscape, a vendor independent of
Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this
product's performance or reliability.
