XCON: No Custom Recipient, E-mail Address, or Site Addressing

    Article ID: Q154857
    Creation Date: 15-AUG-1996
    Revision Date: 23-OCT-1996

The information in this article applies to:

    • Microsoft Exchange Server, version 4.0

    SYMPTOMS

While troubleshooting or configuring a Microsoft Exchange RAS or Site connector, you discover that the New Custom Recipient menu item, E-mail Address property pages, and the Site Addressing object are not displayed.

    MORE INFORMATION

If neither the MS Mail Connector, the Internet Mail Connector, nor the X400 Connector have ever been installed, these items will not be exposed. This typically happens with the Standard Edition Server with the Connectors disk added, but can also occur with the Enterprise Edition.

    WORKAROUND

Install and then remove one of the 3 connectors. On the Standard Edition Server, it will have to be the MS Mail Connector.
