Future Domain SCSI2GO PC Card Causes Event 7026 Error

SYMPTOMS

After installing a Future Domain SCSI2GO PC Card in a Compaq Elite portable computer and rebooting, you receive the following error message:

   Event ID 7026: The following boot start or system start driver or
   drivers failed: Fd16_700.

RESOLUTION

Change the device properties in the Control Panel Devices from Boot to System.
