This article describes the Header and Footer commands that you can use in Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer allows you to customize the headers and footers that appear when you print a Web page.
Command Description

&w Window title
&u Page address (URL)
&d Date in short format (as specified by Regional Settings in
Control Panel)
&D Date in long format (as specified by Regional Settings in
Control Panel)
&t Time in the format specified by Regional Settings in Control
Panel
&T Time in 24-hour format
&p Current page number
&P Total number of pages
&& A single ampersand(&)
These commands can be used with text to print specific information in
the header or footer of a Web page.
Upper left: &w
Upper right: Page &p of &P
Lower left: &D
Lower right: &t
To change the default settings in Internet Explorer for Windows 95, click
Page Setup on the File menu, and then click Headers/Footers.

Page Setup on the File menu, and then click Headers.
