NetMeeting May Not Reconnect to a LiveShare Plus Call

SYMPTOMS

After a conference with a PictureTel LiveShare client is terminated abnormally, Microsoft NetMeeting may be unable to engage in any further calls with LiveShare Plus computers.

RESOLUTION

To be able to receive calls from LiveShare Plus computers after this situation occurs, you must quit NetMeeting and then restart it.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft NetMeeting version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
