Log on to the Windows 2000 workstation using an account that has administrator privileges on the server you will be installing the drivers on. From the Start menu, choose Run. In the Open box, type \\servername, where servername is the name of the 4.0 server.Open the Printers Folder on the server. Select the printer in which you wish to add a Windows 2000 driver. Select File/Properties, install the driver when prompted, then choose the Sharing tab.Select the alternate drivers you wish to install, then select OK.

Select Add Printer.Select Remote print server \\servername, then select Next. Choose the port which the printer will use, then select Next.NOTE: If the port does not already exist on the server, you will need to go to the server to create the port. This cannot be done remotely.
Choose the printer make and model, then select Next. Type a printer name, then Select Next.Choose Shared, enter a Share name, then select all operating systems that will be connecting to the Windows NT 4.0 Server.
