1. Q. How can I cancel my account?

   A. To cancel your account on-line, follow these steps:

   1. Click the "Question Mark" located in the upper right hand corner of
      the MSN Program Viewer.
   2. Choose Check or Change Your Account.
   3. Select Membership.
   4. Select Cancel Account.

2. Q. How can I check or change my MSN account?

   A. To check or change your MSN account, follow these steps:

      1. Click the "Question Mark" within MSN.
      2. Choose Check or Change Your Account.
      3. Go to the MSN Accounts and Billing Center, where you can check the
         status of your MSN account, change your membership plan, billing
         method, or billing address.

3. Q. How can I change my member information?

   A. To change your member information, follow these steps:

      1. Open Exchange (Inbox) while online.
      2. On the Tools menu, click Address Book.
      3. In the box labeled Show Names from the, select The Microsoft
         Network.
      4. On the Tools menu, click Find.
      5. In the Member ID field, type your member ID. Click OK.

      Your profile will appear in the box below. Sometimes more than one
      Name appears, so you must locate yours. Double-click on your name.
      You can modify any box that has a white background. Please note, you
      are not able to modify your Member ID.

4. Q. How can I change my member ID?

   A. Your Member ID is the only means of identifying your account,
      therefore, you must create a new account in order to obtain a new
      Member ID.

      To create a new account, follow these steps:

      1. On the Start menu, click Run.
      2. In the Open box, type signup.exe.
      3. Follow the screen prompts.
      4. Enter your credit card information.
      5. Select your new member ID and password.

      Once you have verified that your new account is working properly, you
      must cancel your old account (make sure that you sign on using the
      account you want to close).

5. Q. Can I set up two different member IDs for the same account?

   A. This is not currently possible. We are currently looking into a
      number ofbilling options, so we may have this ability in the future.
      You can create two accounts and use both from the same computer. All
      you need to do is type in the appropriate member ID and password for
      the account you want to use. Remember that each account will be
      billed separately.

6. Q. What should I do if I forget my password?

   A. The only option available at this time is to contact MSN Billing at
      1-813-557-0613, and request a new password from Customer Service.

7. Q. Are member IDs and passwords case sensitive?

   A. No, member IDs and passwords are not case sensitive.

8. Q. What areas on MSN are free of connection charges?

A. If you are not using MSN as your Internet Service Provider, you can
      Still obtain a wealth of great programming that is free of MSN
      connection charges through the MSN Passport Area.

      The MSN Passport Area includes a personalized home page, interactive
      Web show features, essential services, such as Microsoft Investor and
      Microsoft Encarta, Internet search tools, and much more.

      Note: If you are using MSN for Internet access, connection charges
      Will still apply.

9. Q. How can I print a copy of my billing statement?

   A. To print a copy of your billing statement, follow these steps:

      1. Open your billing statement.
      2. Reveal the Internet Toolbar by clicking the upside down triangle
         in the upper left hand corner of the MSN Program Viewer.
      3. Click the printer icon on the toolbar.
      4. Follow the steps for printing a document.

10. Q. What Do the Various Terms on the Billing History Mean?

    A. Here are the definitions of some terms that you may see on your
       Online billing history:

       1. Basic Service Connection Time is the number of minutes spent
          online.
       2. Base MSN Subscription is your monthly base charge for your
          subscription plan.
       3. Monthly Connection Allowance is a credit appearing on your
          account for the free online hours associated with the standard
          subscription plan.
       4. Premium Connect Time Credit is any credit manually applied to
          your account (not associated with your subscription plan).
       5. Payment - Thank You is the amount forwarded to your credit card
          company for payment to The Microsoft Network.
