The Microsoft Visual SourceSafe Client for the Macintosh has a feature set
similar to the Metrowerks CodeManager product.

product's performance or reliability.

The way to tell the two products apart is to determine the build number of
the product. For Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, you can run the following
command:
SS about
If it returns build number 1323, it is the Microsoft Visual SourceSafe
product and Microsoft should be contacted for support. If it is any other
build number, larger or smaller, it is the Metrowerks CodeManager product
and Metrowerks should be contacted for support.
