SUMMARY

This article describes how to make a backward sequence in Softimage Eddie using the Compose tool.

MORE INFORMATION

To make a backward sequence in Softimage Eddie, use the Compose tool (called Cut in previous releases of Softimage Eddie) as follows:

  1. Display the optional targets with the O shortcut key.

  2. Join any of the six source targets to your sequence.

  3. Open the tool editor and zoom out enough to view at least double the length of the clip you are working on.

  4. Compress the clip by dragging either of the arrowheads towards the in or the out point. This first operation reduces your clip to a single frame.

  5. Now repeat the dragging operation a second time pulling an arrowhead beyond the in or the out point.
