SYMPTOMS

Error messages display when you try to reload a function file containing Softimage Painterly Effects (pfx) plug-in tools in Softimage Eddie.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Softimage Eddie tries to read the plug-ins from the scriptTools directory when these function files are, in fact, in the pfx directory.

RESOLUTION

Copy the pfx plug-ins function files into the scriptTools directory or make a link from the pfx directory to the scriptTools directory.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
