SUMMARY

This article describes how to change the default settings, such as NetworkName and UserName, that are set in the InputAbekas and OutputAbekas tools in Softimage Eddie.

When you open the InputAbekas/OutputAbekas tools in Softimage Eddie, the NetworkName and UserName settings always default to the following: 

   NetworkName  a66
   UserName     guest
If you want to change these settings for an improved fit with your configuration, set the environment variables in your .eddie file as follows: 

   EDDIE_ABEKAS_HOST    another_network_name
   EDDIE_ABEKAS_USER    another_user_name
   EDDIE_ABEKAS_FORMAT  NTSC (or PAL)
