Summary:

The characters "!", "@", "^", and "?" are reserved by Multiplan for
specific functions (such as reference, recalc, etc.). To have them
sent to the printer from Print Options (or from an individual cell),
you will need to use the hex code for each character according to the
following list:

   ! = &h21
   @ = &h40
   ^ = &h5E
   ? = &h3f

The &H (&h) signals Multiplan that a hex code is coming next.
Multiplan then reads the next two digits as the hex code itself (two
digits make up a single ASCII character). If multiple characters must
be entered in their hex representation, they each will need the &h hex
prefix, as in the following example:

   <Escape>!? 

   would be entered as ^[&h21&h3f.
