Summary:

In Multiplan versions 3.00, 3.01, 3.02, and 3.04, printer
redirection is handled in the Print Options "adapter" field.

In Multiplan versions 4.00, 4.01, and 4.20, printer redirection is
handled in the Printer Setup "adapter" field.

In Multiplan versions 1.x and 2.x, printing to an alternative port
(other than the DOS default printer) must be done either through DOS
(using the MODE command) or with the Print File command (by printing a
"file" to LPT1, COM1, etc.). The following is an example:

   1. Choose the Print File command.
   2. Type LPT2 (or "COM1", etc., with no colon), then press ENTER.
   3. At the "Enter Y to overwrite file..." message, press Y.

This procedure does not work in all cases. An alternative method is to
handle the redirection at the DOS level. Current versions of Multiplan
assume a default port of "lpt1:" or "prn:".

Please note that the Wang PC has another command (RDIR) to redirect
printing. This command will not work with Multiplan versions 2.x.
