Summary:

When mailing labels are printed on the ImageWriter II, they tend to
get caught in the printer. This problem may occur as a result of the
rocking motion the printer carriage exhibits after finishing each
label.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works version 1.00,
1.10, and 2.00. This problem was corrected for one-inch labels only in
Works versions 1.10 and 2.00. All other label sizes will still exhibit
the same behavior that may lead to jamming of the printer when using
this version of the program.

This problem is caused by the ImageWriter II printer and the printer
driver when No Gaps Between Pages is engaged. To correct this problem,
do one of the following:

Method 1
--------

In the File Print dialog box, select draft mode, which suppresses the
carriage motion.

Method 2
--------

Use labels that are perforated; that is, the labels themselves are
perforated in addition to the label backing. Some of the labels
produced by Avery may be of this type.
