SUMMARY
=======

Some calculations in a Works spreadsheet may not return the correct
values. Computation or rounding errors may be occurring because of the
SANE (Standard Apple Number Environment) numeric processor that Works
uses and because of binary conversion.

RESOLUTION
==========

To eliminate rounding errors for both time and dollar and cent
calculations, use the ROUND() function on each value in the formula.
The ROUND function has the syntax:

      =ROUND(x,NumberOfPlaces)

For each formula or function that is returning an incorrect result,
place the ROUND function in the same cell, with the original formula or
function as the "x" parameter and a number, usually from 0 to 13, as the
"NumberOfPlaces" parameter to indicate the number of significant digits
after the decimal desired.

MORE INFORMATION
================

For dollar and cent calculations, the SSUM() (Screen Sum) function may also
be used in the formula. When calculating a sum using SSUM(), Works will use
only as many decimal places as are displayed rather than the full 18-digit
accuracy.
