SUMMARY
=======

To create a print merge data file for Microsoft Word for the Macintosh
from a data file created in OverVue, a database program by ProVue, use
OverVue's option to print a file.

The following two problems can occur when a file is brought from
OverVue into Word versions 1.x and 3.x:

1. OverVue does not place quotation marks around fields that contain
   commas. Therefore, if you have a field that contains commas, you
   receive the error message "Data Record Too Long." This problem can
   be solved by placing quotation marks around those fields containing
   commas.

2. If there is a paragraph return on the last line of the data file,
   you will get the error message "Data Record Too Short." This
   problem can be solved by deleting the extra paragraph return.

MORE INFORMATION
================

These problems should not occur with Word version 4.0 or 5.0 because
commas within fields are ignored when the header record and all the
records in the data file are delimited by tabs. Both Word 4.0 and 5.0
ignore blank paragraphs as described in problem 2 above.
