Please enter a valid date. If you want, you can press CTRL+D to insert today's
date, and then press the PLUS SIGN (+) or MINUS SIGN (-) keys on your

where <date> is the birth date you are attempting to enter.

CAUSE
=====

This issue can occur for any of the following reasons:

 - You are attempting to enter the birth date in a format that is not recognized
   by Money.
 - The date you are attempting to enter is outside of the accepted date range.
 - Your Lifetime Planner data is damaged.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, use the following troubleshooting methods in the order in
which they are listed.

Verify that You Are Entering a Date Between 1900 and 2199
---------------------------------------------------------

Money accepts dates between January 1, 1900 and December 31, 2199. Verify that
you are entering a date within this date range.

Note: There are special considerations to be aware of when you enter a year in a
two-digit (YY) format as opposed to a four-digit format (YYYY). For example,
when you enter a birth date for yourself or your partner, Money assumes the
birth date is in the past and adjusts the date accordingly. When you enter a
birth date for a child or an adult dependent, you need to enter the birth date
in a four-digit format if the person you are adding is older than 33 years of
age.

Verify the System Date Setting in Microsoft Windows
---------------------------------------------------

If the Date setting is incorrect in Windows and you enter a year in a two-digit
format, Money may convert the two-digit year to the incorrect four-digit year.
To verify that the Date setting is correct in Windows, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Date/Time.

3. In the Date/Time Properties dialog box, verify the Date and Time settings,
   and then click OK.

Check the Regional Settings in Windows
--------------------------------------

When you enter a date in Money, the format of the date you enter needs to match
the date format selected in the Windows Regional Settings tool in Control
Panel.

To verify the date format in the Regional Settings tool, follow these steps.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Regional Settings.

3. Under Short Date on the Date tab, verify that the date settings match the
date format you are using to enter the birth date.

4. Make any necessary changes to the Short Date settings, and then click OK.
