SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you customize the date range in the Loan Amortization Report in
Money 98, the opening balance of your loan and the totals in the report
may be incorrect.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This behavior can occur because Money 98 enters the current balance of
the loan as the opening balance when you choose any date range for the
Loan Amortization Report except All Dates or All To Date.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To work around this issue, click All Dates or All To Date in the Dates
box under Date Range when you customize a Loan Amortization Report.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
 
This problem has been corrected in Microsoft Money 99.
