Question:

The compiler behaves very inconsistently. When trying to compile a
file, for example xx.PAS, "pas1 xx;" sometimes works correctly, but
"pas1 xx,,list;" gives "Error: compiler pointer to disposed var."

Changing the name of the listing file, "pas1 xx,,lis;" sometimes works
properly. This problem occurs when compiling exactly the same source
file; different results are produced by changing the invocation line.
The different error messages are as follows:

      "Error: Compiler Invalid Pointer Range"
      "Null Pointer Assignment"
      "Compiler Pointer To Disposed Var"

Response:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Version 3.31. This
problem was corrected in Version 3.32.
