   A device attached to the system is not functioning.

 - The CCHAT.EXE file is linked to missing export
   COMCTL32.DLL:InitCommonControlsEx.

This behavior can occur if there is an earlier version of the Comctl32.dll
file on your computer that was not updated by Chat Setup.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, obtain the latest version of the Comctl32.dll file.
You can obtain this file from the following Microsoft Web site:

To install the update, download and run the 401comupd.exe file from the
Web site listed above. When you are prompted to restart your computer, do
so. This update replaces the Comctl32.dll file in the Windows\System

release). This behavior does not occur if you are running Microsoft
Windows 98, an OEM Service Release version of Windows 95, or Microsoft
