SYMPTOMS
========
 
After you install Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the System
Policy Editor "Hide start menu subfolders" restriction may not work
correctly, and you may still be able to gain access to Start menu
subfolders. This behavior may also occur if you are running Internet
Explorer version 4.01 on a Windows 98-based computer.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from
Microsoft, but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied
only to computers experiencing this specific problem. To resolve this
problem immediately, contact Microsoft Technical Support to obtain the
fix. If you are not severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next release of Internet Explorer.
