SYMPTOMS
========

After upgrading to Microsoft Money 99, any "Pay off a loan" event you had
scheduled in the Money 98 Goal Planner is missing.

NOTE: In Money 98, you enter "Pay off a loan" events in the Lifetime Goals
& Events page of Goal Planner. You may expect to see the loan payoff as an
Extra Payment in the Money 99 Loans & Debt page of the Lifetime Planner.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior is by design. The Money 99 Lifetime Planner requires your
additional input for the "Pay off a loan" event.

RESOLUTION
==========

Reenter the "Pay off a loan event" information in Money 99 as a one-time
payment on the loan. To enter loan payoff information, follow these steps:

1. On the navigation bar, click Planner.

2. Click Lifetime Planner.

3. In the left pane, click Loans & Debt.

4. Select the loan that you want to schedule to pay off.

5. Click Edit and then click Next.

6. Click Create A One-time Payment.

7. Click On A Specific Date.

8. Click the appropriate option and select the date if appropriate.

9. Click OK and then click Finish.
