"Zone Does Not Support..." Error Message with Supported Browser

SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you attempt to connect to MSN Gaming Zone, you may receive an error message
stating that the Zone does not support your Web browser or your operating
system, even if you use a supported Web browser on a Microsoft Windows
95/98-based computer.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This behavior can occur if you connect to the Zone through a proxy server, or if
your Internet service provider (ISP) caches Web pages on its server.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To resolve this issue, configure your browser to bypass your Internet proxy
server when you connect to the Zone. To do this, use the appropriate method for
your browser:
 
Internet Explorer 4.0
---------------------
 
To resolve this issue for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, follow these steps:
 
1. On the View menu, click Internet Options.
 
2. On the Connection tab, click Advanced under "Access the Internet using a
   proxy server."
 
3. In the "Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with" box, type
   "*.zone.com; *.msn.com" (without the quotation marks) if the list is empty.
   If one or more addresses are already in the list, type "; *.zone.com;
   *.msn.com" (without the quotation marks) at the end of the list.
 
4. Click OK.
 
5. On the General tab, click Clear History, and then click Yes.
 
6. On the General tab, click Delete Files, and then click OK.
 
7. Click OK.
 
8. Quit and then restart Internet Explorer 4.0.
 
Internet Explorer 3.x
---------------------
 
To resolve this issue for Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x, follow these steps:
 
1. On the View menu, click Options.
 
2. On the Connection tab, click Settings.
 
3. In the "Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with" box, type
   "*.zone.com; *.msn.com" (without the quotation marks) if the list is empty.
   If one or more addresses are already in the list, type "; *.zone.com;
   *.msn.com" (without the quotation marks) at the end of the list.
 
4. Click OK.
 
5. On the Navigation tab, click Clear History, and then click Yes.
 
6. On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Temporary Internet Files.
 
7. Click Empty Folder, and then click Yes.
 
8. Click OK, and then click OK again.
 
9. Quit and then restart Internet Explorer 3.x.
 
Netscape Navigator 4.x
----------------------
 
To resolve this issue for Netscape Navigator 4.x, follow these steps:
 
1. On the Options menu, click Network Preferences.
 
2. On the Proxies tab, click Manual Proxy Configuration, and then click View.
 
3. In the No Proxy For box, type "*.zone.com:80, *.msn.com:80" (without the
   quotation marks). If one or more addresses are already in the list, type ",
   *.zone.com:80, *.msn.com" (without the quotation marks) at the end of the
   list. Click OK.
 
4. On the Cache tab, click Clear Disk Cache Now, click Clear Memory Cache Now,
   and then click OK.
 
5. On the Options menu, click General Preferences.
 
6. On the Appearance tab, click Expire Now, and then click OK.
 
7. Quit and then restart Netscape Navigator.
