The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft Windows Update, used with:
    - Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.0, 5 for Windows 98
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========

After viewing several Web pages on the Windows Update Web Site, you may want to
go back to a page you previously visited. If you click File on the menu bar, the
download/navigation history will appear at the bottom, just above the Work
Offline and Close options. The page titles listed may appear truncated. They may
appear as "Windows Update" or "Microsoft Windows Update".

CAUSE
=====

The page titles may be too long to be fully displayed in the File menu, so you
may only see the first two or three words of the title.

RESOLUTION
==========

To go back to a previously viewed Web page, click Back on the Internet Explorer
toolbar.
