SYMPTOMS
========

When you double-click an animation file (.jcz) in FrontPage Explorer, the
following Liquid Motion error message appears

   Couldn't find File.x.
   File not found C:\Program Files\Microsoft
   FrontPage\temp\geometry\File.x.

where File.x is the name of the 3-D shape in your animation. If you click Ignore,
the error message will reappear for each media file (images, audio files, 3-D
shapes) in your animation.

CAUSE
=====

When you open a file in FrontPage Explorer, the file is copied to a temporary
folder and opened in the configured editor from that location. FrontPage does
this because not all configured editors can open files from an HTTP (Hypertext
Transfer Protocol) location.

Liquid Motion will look for the animation media relative to the location of the
.jcz file. Because the animation media is not copied to the temporary folder,
Liquid Motion cannot find the animation media and the error appears.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this problem, follow these steps:

1. Start or switch to Liquid Motion.

2. On the File menu, click Open.

3. Select your animation file (.jck or .jcz) and click Open.

4. Make the changes you want to your animation.

5. Publish your animation to the FrontPage web.

   For more information about publishing to a FrontPage web, click the Index tab
   in Liquid Motion Help, type the following text

   " FrontPage Web " (without the quotation marks)

   and then double-click the selected text to go to the "Publishing Animations to
   a FrontPage Web" topic.
